Remarkably, 2100 nominees’ entries to the Community Advancement Awards were recorded in 2008. The awards are funded by the Builders and Developers Alliance. The organization aims to support and encourage tireless innovators and individuals striving to promote industrialization. The Alliance also puts into consideration people with the tenacity of endorsing determination, veracity and good leadership among firms.
During the Community Advancement Awards, people embracing development projects like business management, marketing, economic viability and construction are recognized and awarded. Usually, nominees are judged based on their relation to the community, history preservation, vision, general appearance, innovation ability, technical excellence, and their impact on the society.
The judges for the awards are notable leaders, business people, and innovators. Some of the distinguished personalities include Jorge Orzo, Valletta Francesco, and Jose Machiavelo. During this year’s Awards contest, the judges considered various international and national construction projects. The awards comprised of categories such as Top Companies, Best Professional Service Providers, Best Contractor, and Best Companies. Some of the winners included Michael Capponni for the Renovation Category, James Orlando for the Painting Category, and David Ritcher for the Construction Management Category.
